چکیده
From the leaves of Cucumis sativus the following C-glycosides were isolated and identified: isovitexin 2"-O-glucoside, isovitexin, isoorientin, 4'-X-O-diglucosides of isovitexin and swertiajaponin. In the flowers of the above species chromatographically (HPLC, TLC) the presence of kaempferol 3-O-rhamnoside and 3-O-glycosides of kaempferol, quercetin, isoramnetin was revealed. The flavonoids complexes occuring in other species of Cucumis: C. metuliferus, C. myriocarpus and six cultivar varieties of C. sativus chromatographically (HPLC, TLC) were campared.

Reseda (Tourn.) et L. is a genus inResedaceae family with 153 species and subspecies in the world and 14 species in Iran. Some flavonoid compounds have been reported from the Reseda genus. Flavonoids are as one set of the polyphenolic compounds among secondary metabolites in different organs of plants that are used in plant chemotaxonomy. They have basic role in pollination and life cycle of an...

متن کاملAn Approach to the Chemosystematics of the Genus Cucumis L
Phylogenetic relationships in the order Cucurbitales as well as the phylogeny and classification of its taxonomically most problematic family, Cucurbitaceae, have been the focus of several studies. Taxonomists over the years have differed on the delimitation of Cucumis L. and numerous taxonomic treatments have been proposed since the pioneering work of Linnaeus (1753). Using maximum parsimony, ...

About 130 species of genus Anthemis occur throughout the world. Thirty-nine of them could be found in flora of Iran. According to literature, this species was not the subject of research up to now and therefore its chemical composition is not well known. However, flavonoids, polyphenolic acids, terpene and sesquiterpene compounds were reported to be the major constituents of some other species ...
